Our EcoTan range is a step towards a greener solution to the burden our industry places on the environment. In itself, choosing leather as a material is one way of avoiding the use of oil based synthetic products. With our EcoTan range we have engineered our tanning process to eliminate all heavy metals and glutaraldehyde from the tanning and retanning systems to create a friendlier, biodegradable material.
Nixons Leather has always been at the forefront of development and innovation. Having supplied materials into the global market we have seen how such an innovated product such as Micro-Fresh can support our leathers. Micro-Fresh uses a triple action technology to prevent the growth of odour causing bacteria. The use of Micro-Fresh on our products ensures that they remain fresh and odour neutral.
